Malay Mishra, Founder & Head Trustee
Malay Mishra is an entrepreneur and development practitioner committed to expanding opportunities in underserved communities across India. After a career spanning corporate strategy, business leadership, and entrepreneurship in India and the United States, he founded Seeds of Grace to support community-led development in Eastern Nagaland.
He believes that lasting change begins by investing in people—particularly women and young people—and creating pathways to education, health, livelihoods, and leadership. Through Seeds of Grace, he works closely with local communities, tribal leaders, and partner organizations to develop practical, sustainable solutions that strengthen lives and build resilient communities.
Malay holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad.

A. Kumrila, Community Leader & Co-Trustee
A. Kumrila is a respected leader from the Yimkhiung tribe and a passionate advocate for the development and well-being of communities across Eastern Nagaland. She serves as a Trustee of Seeds of Grace, bringing deep local knowledge, trusted relationships, and a lifelong commitment to community service.
She represents the Yimkhiung community in the Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation (ENWO), where she works alongside leaders from multiple tribes to advance the interests of women and strengthen communities across the region. She also serves as the Chairperson of the District Child Welfare Committee, Shamator, supporting the protection, welfare, and development of children and vulnerable families.
With extensive experience working at the grassroots level, A. Kumrila plays a vital role in ensuring that Seeds of Grace remains community-driven, culturally grounded, and responsive to the needs and aspirations of the people of Eastern Nagaland.

Seeds of Grace has been shaped by the guidance, encouragement, and support of individuals and institutions who share a commitment to the people and communities of Eastern Nagaland.
Among them is Colonel Archit Goswami, SM, Ex-Commanding Officer, 14 AR, and a long-time friend of Founder & Head Trustee Malay Mishra. Through his years of service in the region, Colonel Goswami developed a deep appreciation for the people, culture, and aspirations of Eastern Nagaland. Early conversations with him helped inspire Seeds of Grace’s engagement with the region.
The organisation’s first menstrual health and dignity initiative, implemented in villages near the India–Myanmar border, emerged from discussions around the challenges faced by women and girls in remote communities. Colonel Goswami played an important role in shaping the idea and provided valuable support during its implementation. The success of this initiative helped lay the foundation for Seeds of Grace’s broader commitment to women’s health, education, livelihoods, and community development.
A reflection of the deep relationships he built in the region is the honour bestowed upon him by the Yimkhiung community, which adopted him into the tribe and gave him the name “Wongtong.”
Seeds of Grace is also grateful to the many tribal leaders, educators, community organisations, government officials, faith leaders, volunteers, and well-wishers whose guidance and support continue to strengthen our work across Eastern Nagaland
